Motif of an Improv

Here is a video displaying the motif for the New Genre Improvisation. A motif is a recurring subject, theme, idea, etc. In this application, the motif is a choreography phrase that Kathleen plans to repeat with variation throughout the improvisation.



This is also the costume we are planning on wearing for the performance, although Kathleen is planning on altering the costume slightly to enhance the flow of fabric from underneath. The music in the background is a piece by (the) giants of gender called those are your skeletons.
